For the 1970 model year, Pontiac redesigned the Firebird with sleek lines that resembled a Ferrari. The Firebird Formula had twin functional hood scoops, which fed cold air to its 400 cubic Ram Air III motor. The Firebird was a fun and fast pony car and one of the prettiest American cars of its era.
