Finally, we have some leaf color in metro Atlanta. Twenty years ago, I took a hike in the North Georgia mountains on October 31 and the trees were bare. This year, peak leaf color will be the first week of November. That is a big change in twenty years and I've read this is related to global warming. I took this image on a hike yesterday in woods five minutes from my home. Looks nice on black. I've been hiking these woods daily for the last two weeks and today starts a mini-series on what I saw on these hikes.
so very pretty!!!! fall is late here...today I went driving looking for leaf shots and discovered some of my favorite places to shoot are still green or already dropped before changing.
A fav.
