The iconic Ford GT40 won the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race four consecutive times from 1966 to 1969. Fully restored originals are currently valued between 7 and 11 million dollars, so the ones seen at car shows are all replicas. There are some really nice replicas, such as this one with a steel body and correct 427 motor. Bonus: next to the GT40 is a 1968 Pontiac GTO convertible, an iconic American muscle car. This concludes my colored pencil car show series. Due to your enthusiastic response to this series, I will show another series such as this in the future. Thanks for your kind support and have a great weekend!
Nice shot. I love taking pictures of old cars. Will post one soon of my 1971 Ford Capri 2 L. We belonged to car clubs here in South Africa and I therefore have many collections of old car photos,
I'v caught up with the rest of this series Danny and loved them all. I missed them on the day because the follow link failed for some reason - now rectified. Excellent work.
