Euharlee Creek Covered Bridge by soboy5

Euharlee Creek Covered Bridge

I recently attended a concert by Party of Five, a great local band that my friends are in. The concert was held in the quaint town of Euharlee, Georgia. We arrived early and while the band was setting up, we did a photo shoot. This week's series will be all about Euharlee. Up first is this 129 year old covered wooden bridge. We'll take a closer look at this wonderful bridge tomorrow.

Instant fav. I am a huge fan of covered bridge photos and this one is brilliant. Great lead in, composition and scene. No relief in sight here from the heat either. I never heard of Euharlee Creek, GA...where is it near?

I always wonder why some bridges are covered. Love how the eye is led to the entrance of the covered part.

@soboy5 And now I ask where is Cartersville? I guess I look to Athens or Atlanta for comparison distances ... LOL!

@cimes1 Cartersville is in Bartow County, 42 miles Northwest of Atlanta.
