Thanks for putting "Shrimp boat at sunset" on PP. For the month of March, I am going to do an entire SOOC series of the forest where I hike. I will post two images per week of these woods, each image taken with my Sony RX100, a great hiking companion as it is so small and light. And no cropping, no editing, absolutely no post-processing at all. I love these winter woods, with their copper colored beech and oak leaves contrasting with a brilliant blue winter sky and clear site lines through the forest. Very, very zen.
@maggiemae Although it may appear that way to you, many of these are very tall and mature hardwoods. I took this shot from the trail which is far away from this cluster of trees.
Beautiful composition. I was just going to ask where you took the picture from, as it looks as though you are on a higher level looking down, but then I read your response to @maggiemae.
