The Sun Sets on Turner Field

I am interrupting my Florida series this week to display a brilliant sunset I captured during my recent visit to see the Atlanta Braves play during their last season at Turner Field. The Braves will be moving to a new ballpark located in the Atlanta suburbs in 2017. Turner Field is in great shape and is a wonderful ballpark. It is a mystery to me as to why these expensive ballparks are abandoned after 20 years in Atlanta - so many better uses for this money in this country - I'd rather see these funds used for providing food to the hungry, shelter to the homeless and medical care to the sick and uninsured.
