Just after the trip in Piacenza, my wife, Kira and I went to Capranica to visit the parents of my wife for the Easter holiday. With them I have a wonderful relationship and I love going there because they live in the middle of the countryside. Capranica is a little town in the province of Viterbo not so far from Rome. Although it's at south respect to Verona it's also situated at about 400 meters over the sea so the weather is usually colder and in this season is more evident.
All the area is well known for the hazelnuts and there are trees everywhere, also in the property of the parents of my wife. According to wikipedia, Italy is the second country in the world with the largest production of hazelnuts after Turkey.
