I really like the contrast of shapes and tones in this - works great in black and white.

You're never on the wrong side of town when you near train tracks.

@byrdlip except when you're trying to sleep. screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeech boom boom boom boom boom boom...I live by a train yard, and those guys are working 24/7, but it's a lot of fun really, with the occasional surprising loud noise.

@stephomy The KOA in Spokane is along the UP route heading east, and I make sure to park along the fence nearest the tracks. Three trains a night is not as bad as the party campers.

@byrdlip Also grew up near the steel mills in western PA, I'm use to going to sleep with the sound of large steel pipes being rattled around.

@byrdlip Honestly, when it snowed, and activity died down at the yard, and the buses stopped running down my street shaking my house every 20 minutes, it felt quite eerie. Quiet...too quiet.
