I went out with my new lens looking for a bird to take a picture of, an I found this guy sitting in a madrona tree on the bluffs of Magnolia.

Have you ever noticed that they almost always sit with their back toward you? Like taking pictures of deer, I always get the south end of a north bound deer. :-(

@byrdlip That is an interesting observation. I assumed it was looking out down the cliff and at the water, but it did keep turning its head to look at me.

@francoise Thanks. Na, the winter is just cold, and I've been busy with word. I might try to get back on doing a shot every day with the New Year. Winter will still be cold, but now that the holidays are over, I wont be as busy.
