I haven't actually seen the movie "The Grand Budapest Hotel", but I saw this video and decided to make the pastry. It helped that I was already making a lot of choux at work today.
I fudged a bit on the recipe to work with what I had on hand. I took pictures of all the steps and posted them as fillers. You can find them at the beginning of November where missed several days of posting.
Well, this one is a close second. Very romantic indeed, even the warm indoor lighting. Actually, the move I think about it, the more I think this is my favorite. Now if I could just reach it and lick one of those drips...
