Looks like you f/stop, ISO and exposure time are within goo limits, And I don't know how else to put it, but you need to get out of town to avoid the light pollution, assuming you where in town. Oh, turn the camera ninety degrees?
@byrdlip I tried again last night and overexposed the shot this time, but I did time it better haha. I'm honing in on it. There is a lot of city light in my front yard for sure.
@stephomy Grandson was out and got a shot in (around 1am) and mentioned that the moon was out, which didn't help. Going to have to check the moon cycle and get my usual "circle" challenge in :-)
