Day 338 - Buck House by stevecameras

Day 338 - Buck House

Looks better viewed large, on black if you have time :)

Decided for last day off I would head into London again for another picture of somewhere iconic. I even decided to take my 7D and my tripod out to get some traffic light trails.

I had originally decided to go to Leicester Square to photograph the big wheel that has been put up for Christmas, but at the last minute I jumped off the tube at Marble Arch and headed to Buckingham Palace.

I was hoping to get a few shots from this position and then move to the middle of the Mall leading up to the palace, and get a nice shot including cars either side of the camera, but my battery ran out of power and I didn't pack a spare.

I know - Rule 101.

Oh well, I still like it, even if it isn't quite what I wanted. At least it's a location ticked off the list.
Superb Steve...the lighting of the building plus sky & then car lights trails just underline a great photo.
