This is British music artist Pixie Lott having her photo taken by the papparazzi at last night Brit Awards ceremony in London.
I was hanging around on the red carpet with the tv camera guys, as you do, and I managed to take my X100 out from under my body warmer and snap a shot. If I could get rid of the guy to the right her and the people in the foreground it would have been great.
I needed to be careful because technically it's frowned upon to be taking photos anywhere on the day. Of course, it's my 365 and I just can't help myself if it means documenting the day like this, especially when she looked like this. Very elegant and lovely...!
Love the way you always manage to capture the light in such a different angle, Steve. And the sky on the background is absolutely gorgeous! And btw "I was hanging around the red carpet..." You really want me to feel jealous,. Ok you got it!! lol
You have captured a great story and although you are not fond of the other people I think they create interest in the shot and the story. So glad you managed to capture this when you weren't supposed to.
