Day 054, Year 2 - Alexis & The Last Of The Freelensers

Sounds like another movie title...!

This was a quick shot taken last Sunday while I was at home with my folks for the weekend. Alexis in her onesie pyjama suit, watching cartoons on my laptop, taken with my SLR and my Pentax manual lens, using the free-lensing technique as I have done with some of my shots over the days previous to this one, such as this one:

It's OK, but I found it tricky to get a good shot with a nice section of the frame out-of-focus, and with a nice enough sharp image to bring your eye in - in this instance, her face. It;s a fun technique to play with but I think i'll not give it another go for while yet.

I do like this freelensing effect. I don't have one but I need to try it some day. But it's also not fair, coz Alexis would look adorable anyway :)

@vokesy I've thought about it but I think there are other 'wish-list' list lenses :)
