A rather naff photo today taken during a wander this afternoon after my run, made only slightly better by using the Lee BigStopper, 10 stop ND filter to make the water a bit smoother. This is on the River Yare just outside Great Yarmouth, and I think this platform is something to do with the port authority, hence why the the gate is there to prevent people walking on it. Which is what I would have done had it not been there... :)
3 good things:
1 - Seeing my friend Gemma for coffee in the morning
2 - A great run along a different route this afternoon
3 - Catching up on my podcasts while walking with my camera after my run
@365projectlinda Thank you.
And naff basically means bad, uncool, unfashionable...it's slang and used in a way that sometimes replaces an expletive such as the f-word. Having said that, to say something is "naff" isn't seen as offensive or bad language in itself. I used it hear just simply say the the shot is a bit rubbish or boring, although by using the BigStopper, perhaps it isn't all that bad :)
Steve the shot it good. I use the Big Stopper sometimes. The trade-off from it is that you lose drama in the sky sometimes if there is not snappy color to complement the smoothing of the clouds. Well done!
