This is the magnificent Giant's Causeway in Country Antrim, in Northern Ireland where I am working this week. I am lucky to be staying in a hotel only 3 miles away from this place and I knew I had to visit this place of natural beauty. It is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of a volcanic eruption. Most of the columns are hexagonal, although there are some with four, up to eight sides. They are truly a wonder and a must see if you are ever in this part of the world.
I know I will be going there at least once more this week. Let's hope the weather improves a little this week...not just for a nicer week working, but so there might be a little more colour in the sky over the Causeway.
3 good things:
1 - Being back in Northern Ireland again
2 - A lovely dinner in the hotel restaurant with my work friends
3 - A brilliant evening down at the Causeway, reflecting on it's natural beauty, sharing the moment with two good work friends, taking a moment to think about my family and all the good things in life, and feeling gratitude for everything I have
Thank you all very much indeed. Lovely to get some good feedback. :))
