A late upload from last month during my visit with work to Northern Ireland for the Irish Open golf event. And on this day I headed out with two colleagues to the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge to have a look. Upon our arrival we came across the locked gate (as we thought we might) and decided to jump over and go have a look.
It's not my normal behaviour but my colleague who is in his 50's went first and once he did it, I decided I better go with him, leaving our third colleague behind who was happy to sit on top of the gate and take in the views.
We spent about 10 minute on the island you can see in the picture on the other side of the bridge before heading back to our hotel.
It's definitely worth a look but I don't endorse any breach of security after hours ;)
3 good things:
1 - The odd moment of good weather out on the course
2 - Getting everything ready for the start of the Irish Open the following day
3 - Fun going to see Carrick-a-Rede
