Day 213, Year 5 - Alexis & The View from The Cabin
This is Alexis last week on the first morning of out stay in West Lexham in Norfolk.
After a very chilled wake-up (because of a late bed time the night before) and some breakfast in the cabin, we opened the curtains, windows and door to the woods to see what was outside. It was a nice moment just listening to the birds, looking at the other accommodations nearby, and spotting a little bit of wildlife roaming around near us.
3 good things:
1 - A nice (relative) lay-in for the first time in weeks
2 - A lovely walk to the Castle Acre site near to our campsite with the other families, and a nice pub lunch along the way
3 - A swim in the lake, BBQ for dinner and toasted marshmallows for dessert in the evening
