I really did just take this picture. It was taken downtown Charleston and it is a yellow blooming tree. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it. The end of November who would ever expect to see something this beautiful blooming! Maybe someone can tell me what it is.
This really is beautiful! Can I come down and visit? We're up on Cape Cod this weekend to celebrate Thanksgiving with our families, and everything here is brown and dead. Now I remember why I was never fond of this time of year... the Cape is just plain ugly!
What it is, is beautiful! No botanist here to assist you in sorting out the type, but I'd enjoy it, too, a surprise this time of year! It looks like a springtime array!
