I really could not believe this when I saw it and felt badly for taking their picture but not THAT BADLY! What is happening with our world when two lovely young people can't even talk to each other but will sit and text instead? I just don't understand it.
That's a big hangup of my Wife. she always says that she can hardly stand it when a couple is out eating and one or the other, or both are on their phone texting.
Yes - sadly it is the same all over the world. We have a family come in to our cafe every Sunday for breakfast. The two adults read the paper and the three children play with their phones - all while they are eating. Conversation is basically nil. Great candid, though.

I think people rely to much on their phones these days. They get panicky when they leave them at home. What about the good old days when we didn't have mobile phones & got the call when we arrived home at the end of the day & had a good old chat without thinking of the "cost"of the call. :D
