First, let me say that we did not lose our dog. This is on the back of my husband's workshop and it came with the house. We just moved here a year ago and were quite surprised to find this. We asked around and found that Beau was hit by a car. There is a grave under the sign covered with lovely white stones from the desert. The flowers are very old artificial ones. We respect the area and will always protect it.
We are running around today getting our camper ready for a short trip to visit some friends. I will not have internet but will catch up when we return. Have a good week, everyone!
Oh wow, I was surprised at first sight. And by the way Suzie, I am fine, just very busy now days and I haven't been able to do a lot of photography and posting. I have been looking but that's about it. My thumb, well it is still going through therapy. Not sure it's going to help a lot but I am giving it a try anyway. Very painful at times. Just enjoying life, busy with the Grandkids, etc.
Sad, but it represents the love someone had for their pet. I'm glad it wasn't yours. You capture the tribute nicely. We have a pet cemetery here too. Three precious memories.
Hope the trip is a real good one! I know you'll have some great pictures.
Beautiful thought for a loved dog, enjoy your holiday...
