I haven't been on 365 in a while and I apologize for not taking time to visit all your pages and comment on your pictures. I am in San Diego, CA visiting with my son and his family. My daughter has flown in from South Carolina and we are having such a fun time.
My son has a beautiful home here with lots of wonderful winter flowers and plants. I have no idea what these are but I thought they were lovely. I spent a bit of time outside today taking pictures of flowers and the pretty yard.
So, for a few days I will deviate from my summer travels to bring you some San Diego!

Hey, FYI if you are still in San Diego and interested. Seven or eight of us are meeting just inside the entrance to the Safari Park here in Escondido on Saturday, the 16th for a photoshoot and lunch afterwards at Mike's BBQ here in town. Reason for meeting at entrance -- John and I have zoo/park memberships that gives us free parking. We're going to get into two cars, with one of us in each, and go into the park together. @aglennc Anita, that sounds like such fun but I leave in the morning with rush hour traffic! Are you all on 365? I can't wait to see some of your pictures!
@stownsend Yes, we are all 365ers -- from SD, John and I from Escondido, and several from up 5 aways -- Fountain Valley, etc. We've done several photoshoots together, have added a couple new ones to the group this time. It's a great group, and our lunches afterwards have lasted up to almost four hours. We've had a blast together. Lots of laughs, etc.

@aglennc I wish the drive weren't so grueling or I could come with you often. I moved away 10 years ago and just can't take the traffic any long. It exhausts me! But I know you will have fun and I can't wait for the pictures!
Sounds like a wonderful time in San Diego. I love your photo. Wish I lived there as I would love to find some 365ers to take photos with. Not one in the Sacramento area. I met two after they moved to Ohio from Sacramento. FAV.

I was thinking about a : Bergenia plant . Have to see the leaves to be sure.
