Almost Ready to Bloom

All of the cactus are late blooming this year. We didn't get as much rain as usual and I would imagine that is the reason. That or the fact that January was unusually warm.

My Bunny Ears is just a few days from blooming and I can't wait. They will be bright yellow.

A fabulous shot, do those blooms also turn into cactus figs? We have plenty here in SA, but the leaves are a bit different.

@ludwigsdiana This particular one does not get any "Apples" as we call them. I had no idea that you would have cactus in SA!! I do love 365!

@stownsend We have tons of Cactus and varieties of Aloes. The prickly pear of the cactus is a very enjoyable and tasty fruit. (provided one knows how to handle them )
