Mint in Bloom

From a distance I was just sure that my mint plant had some sort of terrible fungus going on! When I got close I was astounded to see that it was blooming. I had never seen mint bloom before. I wish my camera did close up detail better as the flowers are so sweet and delicate.

@mave @henrir @ludwigsdiana I think it has to try to survive in 100 degree plus weather to get the flowers :). I don't use it much, had never grown it before and mostly it just sits and grows!

I didn't know it flowered, I do know it spreads though, next year you will have a garden full of blooming mint :))

Pretty flower and capture my mint has a purple flower it must be a different variety.
