Texas Sage

My Texas Sage is about to burst out in full color and I can't wait. It only blooms after a big rain so I tried tricking it recently into thinking it had rained and I think it worked. It has been a long hot summer with no color at all except brown. I am so ready for cooler weather here in the desert.
I think you might of done the trick. These are beautiful.

This is beautiful. I think I would tire of the very hot dry weather if I lived in the desert. We complain about all the rain here in the UK but at least we get colour all summer.

@susiemc My trade-off for the hot, dry summer is an extremely mild winter where we an be out in shirtsleeves most days. That I love! And I grow veggies in the winter.
