We had amazing rain and thunder yesterday (just like every other day since I have been in Wyoming with no end in sight). I enjoyed watching it but Katie feels differently. Since I was busy and couldn't just sit and hold her, I gave her my blanket and told her she could sit in my chair which is not normally allowed. She was there until the thunder moved on. I felt so badly for her and all of the other dogs who are scared of thunder.
Definitely in hiding but looks safe. (Our dog used to be totally terrified when a smoke alarm ran out of battery and made a high pitched warning noise. It was hard to get hold of him as he did not know what to do or where to go.)
Poor katie, she looks happy to have your blanket and chair. I'm sure it makes her feel better. My Shelby doesn't like thunder, It has been threatened but so far it has passed us by.
