@mave @elisasaeter @suelbiz47 Thank you so much for your comments. The oleander is very common in the west and also in the south of the US. The leaves and flowers are deadly if eaten so I have never had any in my yards as I always have dogs - or children years ago. But they do make nice hedges with a splash of color.

@suelbiz47 They are very popular in Pennsylvania and the south east. And the leaves are indeed poisonous. And they are very beautiful as you can see.
