As we passaged from Yarmouth to the east side of Nova Scotia we "almost froze to death". I felt like we wore everything we owned just to stay alive. When we finally sailed into Port Mouton the steam fogged our glasses and we finally warmed up. Here is Kirby's pile of clothing that he had worn during the crossing.
