While we were anchored in Mader's Cove, I had Kirby drop me at a dock across the bay and I would walk the mile into town on the little country road coming from Lunenburg. I carried my computer in my backpack and planned my emails and some shopping. I passed this house which I had seen from our anchorage in Mahone Bay and just had to have a picture. But the light was wrong from the opposite angle and the tree was in the way of the house in this one. You have no idea how many times I wanted to cut that tree down!! I felt like it ruined a good picture. But I love this picture even with the stupid tree in the way.
Oh, goodness, I'd have had the same reaction to the tree! I know what it's like to want pictures of all the houses and not to miss anything. I love reading here about getting off your boat and, of course, walking where you wanted to go! I'm enjoying being back out for our morning walks, and when the music festivals pick up around town, I'll be out more to enjoy the available venues. Funny, while I love being here, I think I'm enjoying an even greater appreciation having corresponded with you, and getting feedback about what other's are seeing along with us here.
