Pig Beach by stownsend

Pig Beach

This was actually Staniel Cay but we called it Pig Beach in honor of the wild pigs that lived there and begged for food from the tourists. We didn't get close because they will swim out to the boats (our rubber dinghy) and beg - and claw at the dinghy while begging. It could ruin a perfectly good dinghy!

In this picture you can see the man running with food in hand to the beach and the pigs almost in attach mode for the food. The tourists have trained them well! There are also babies training the tourists!
another beautiful shot Suzie! I don't know if that would be my first choice of beach to hang at :)

I can imagine, even though it's a neat side attraction, it could be a bit dangerous too. Aren't they known to be nasty?

I guess one should be thankful it's not a nude beach! Beautiful shot of the beach, pigs and all!

This is a crazy shot! I don't think I would know what to think with wild pigs running the beach. But the baby pigs are so cute!

They look so cute and harmless. I had to check again where you live to find out where this happens. We go to SC (HH) every year; have to drive a little further north to see these. What a sight!
