Cat's Out of the Bag

On our photo trip to the Los Angeles Historic District, thinly disguised as a shopping trip for @weezilou resulted in a few purchases of items, Ken (hat) and Louise (bag of cats), made by nine-year-old Mexicans in crowded hot factories where they are allowed to sip water twice during the 16 hour work day. Me, I bought margaritas and sugar skulls, both made by eight-year-old Mexicans who work only 14 hours per day. I do have standards after all.
Clearly, you are the good person in the group? Love the cat bag and hope that it wasn't really made under those circumstances. Very cute photo of Louise @weezilou

LOL! I would have gone for the margaritas too but the cat bag is awfully cute...and so is Louise! :)

There you go, Ron. Now you really have let the cat out of the bag. And you forgot to mention how @weezilou scarfed down those Huevos Rancheros.

Thanks Ron! You're off the hook now ; ) Those children in sweat shops are doing the dirty work for the owner who ripped off a design by Laurel Birch, of course, but everyone knows I have no standards and happily shelled out a few bucks I asked Ken to hand over for the occasion. Taffy @taffy and Cathee @gardenfolk we had an amazing time...but if you'd like to hear more, drop by where I'm about to post my day's image that includes those margaritas ; )

That cat bag is big enough to carry more stuff on the plane for her when she and Ken head for Njova Scotia. Louise @weezilou really needed this bag!

@aglennc Say that a little louder, Anita, and I'll tell Ken to be sure to listen! (He told me he didn't mind me getting *another* bag, but with the provision I dispose of two from Home Sense (same as Home Goods)... Men will never understand that ALL women are Bag Ladies at heart!

@mbrutus Saw I loved my Huevos Rancheros, but those weren't my margaritas washing them down! (No alcohol...for the most part ; ) ...is the small price I pay patiently while I get on with feeling better!

The effects of associating with @mbrutus are already starting to show.

Love the bag :)

I don't know what's better, the fab Weeziliu photo or your story! I'm sure seeing more "Hecho in Mexico" stickers on items now, I'll be mindful of your Mexican labor description as I shop. Lol. A big fav!

@pamknowler Those of us here in southern CA are waiting for you to come our way.

@pamknowler I just came across your comment this morning, and I do believe we may have (by now) convinced you to come visit here, too! Taffy doesn't corner the only game in town!

@pcoulson I don't know where you live, but after two visits, why note three? I see we might be able to put a new tour group together with Pam @pamknowler as well! We managed to pull together about 13 365 members for a week in CHicago a year ago and it was fabulous!
