That Tree Looks Cold! by stray_shooter

That Tree Looks Cold!

Last day in Ontario. The temperature was low and the wind was swirling. I tried to capture that in this shot. Again, this is in full color. Tomorrow's photo should have plenty of color!
Great winter scene you've captured Ron, looks very cold and bleak, you'll be please to get home at the weekend.

Wow! That was my first thought upon seeing this pic. The single tree, stark in its silhouette, is awesome. The fact that it's off-center is a plus for me. Makin' this one a Fav!

Oh, forgot to say Thanks for the comment on my Snow Aglow photo. I don't understand why the stats on the photo say I used PicMonkey to edit it. (Can you see that in the photo information area??) I've never used PicMonkey for any of my pictures. I try my best to take a picture that doesn't need any editing, though hanging out here on this site is inspiring me to try various photo effects. I do like to add some sort of framing though, which is always done in photoshop. The frozen bubble pic honestly was a SOOC pic, despite what the sidebar details say! Okay, enough whining out of me. I hope you do try the frozen bubble idea. I found that the bubbles freeze better if the solution is cold. The longer I was outdoors, the better the bubbles formed and lasted.

@lyndemc I believe the "with Picmonkey" appears in one's own view. I see it on my photos too, but have never used it. I don't see it when I view your photos. I must admit that I edit the majority of photos that I post, mostly in Lightroom when I'm home. But I sure do appreciate SOOC shots! Thanks for the fav! And thanks for the frozen bubble tips. Will tackle soon. For now I'm just happy to be home where it's a little warmer.
