My photo class went to the local botanical gardens. The unusually warm weather seems to have caused the cherry blossoms to emerge a little ahead of schedule.
Are they already in bloom over there? I can't wait for the seasons to change. My children have been painting cherry blossoms all week. What a love Spring picture to wake up to on this, a cold foggy morning in Korea :) looking forward to more Spring themes over the next few weeks.
@jskuse Yes, Jenny, they are in full bloom here. It's been unusually warm all winter and the trees seem to think it's already April. Sorry! I'll try to get some spring-like photos for you!
@marmaladeskyes Thanks, Tracy. I love them too, but I have to admit that this is the first time I've examined them so closely. I now realize what I've been missing!
I really like the way you composed this picture. The bit of blue sky in the background makes the upper blossoms extra brilliant while the others glow against the green background.
@simta Thanks, Simta! @lyndemc I really appreciate the composition comment - I wasn't sure if I had balanced those colors out properly. I just thought it looked nice to me. I have much to learn!
