Monster happens to be the name of this American Bulldog. While taking photos with Louise and Ken @weezilou in Huntington Beach we ran into this gentleman and his pal. He was happy to demonstrate Monster's unique talent.
@maggiemae You're probably thinking of Pit Bulls... I would not have spent time with one. Bull Dogs are adorable, but usually short & squat. This American Bull Dog has a larger stature. They're known to have a gentle nature. And Ron, I loved this photo when you took it! He reminds me of the push toys played with by children of wealthy parents in the late 1800s! They looked like bears or horses and were quite gorgeous. Sweet Monster-Slobber-Mouth would have been adored by young and old alike! Terrific photo!!
Great capture, composition and focus Ron, one happy man and his dog, sorry to say this shot would not be possible in the UK, this one of the breeds that would have to wear a muzzled in public areas since the The Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 became law, !!!!
@maree_sanderson@dianen@jossette His master was pretty funny. He said it was OK to call him monster because he was deaf. That's good enough for me! Thanks for the comments. :-)
@salza I wish I'd though of doing a video! As it turns out, he was so enthralled with Louise and her magnetic animal nature, he kept jumping off and running to her. I have shot of that somewhere here. I'll have to post that.
@gilbertwood@joysfocus@pamknowler Thanks ladies - he did stand rock steady while his "handler" would push him along - at a fairly good clip! Lots of fun.
@stray_shooter Not wishing to get myself into another countries politics I will only say, unfortunately the freed of speech act would not allow it, I just don't understand how so many of your countrymen are taken in by his outlandish statements, surely this man can't go on to lead the most powerful country in the world, or can he?
