No, honestly they did! .... Blue trees art installation in St Paul's Cathedral Garden London.
The Trees have been painted blue in three different locations in London. It's the idea of an artist called Konstantin Dimopoulos, to make people more aware of the trees around them and their importance to our environment.
@paulaw Hi Paula, yes, they have painted the trees blue in three different locations. It's the idea of an artist called Konstantin Dimopoulos, to make people more aware of the trees around them and their importance.
@camim@derekvickers Thanks Camila, Derek, these trees look bizarre but quite brilliant close up, I believe the artist has also done this in a number of locations around the world.
@zambianlass Thanks Nicky, can you imagine a few of these where you live? That would make for a bizarre picture :-) haha... Yes a few smurfs would complete the scene perfectly!
Can't believe those trees are really painted blue. I thought for sure you just photoshopped the heck out of them. I'm assuming the paint doesn't hurt the trees, being the liberal tree-hugger that I am. Beautiful photo. Looks like a painting. Great Ian!
I apologize to all of you ... it does not hurt the trees paint them with paint?? Children should like ... and adults need to be shaken at times ... but do not harm the trees ...!
