the grands were here this weekend. darren, the younger one, adores his older brother and mimics his likes and dislikes, except when it comes to food and clothes. both are very smart. derrick the older one makes it a point to teach him anything that he learns. here they are playing chess, one is serious the other playful. one won't go anywhere without the other. they are the best of friends and i wish they would continue to be so when they grow up.
scrabble is the only board game i am really good at and i didn't learn to play it until i was in college, but i was a natural at it. i'm getting good at monopoly although it's been a year since we last touched that board game. i learned backgammon a long time ago but i've forgotten how to play it. thank you, karenann. @karenann
They probably will be- with maybe a brief interlude when the older first starts to like girls or realizes that he is just about to become a teenager, and then magically when he gets his license his little brother won't be such a bother again. Little brother will do anything to be on big brother's good side because of that little slip of paper which says he can drive. At least that's the way it was with my boys! Cute shot!
@olivetreeann - hopefully that happens. the younger one is more adventurous, want to go places with us, but the big one hampers him because he never wants to go anywhere but play on the computer. and when he doesn't want to come to us for the assigned weekend, the younger one is coerced into not coming, too, so the younger one often misses out on a lot of things. thank you, ann.

@steeler - thank you, howard.
@jannkc - thank you, jann.
@lesip - thank you, leslie. in picnik, either under "effects" or "frames" the style is called 'parnograph-ish" or something like that.
