little wahoo wanted to find 'layers' treasure for today. she couldn't go to the boulangerie to get a slice of the caramel meringue cake because grandmere summerfield was late coming home, and she didn't know how to ride the subway. plus she's also afraid she might get stepped on by humans.
so she asked grandmere to draw a picture of a chicken laying an egg, but grandmere's drawing skills have not been in use for forty years so that was an epic fail. little wahoo suggested grandmere to wear about five pieces of clothing, but grandmere said "no way!" because that would trigger her hot flashes, and little wahoo was wondering what hot flashes were.
then little wahoo chanced upon some of grandmere's vacation photos from last year and she saw this photo with layers and layers of beautiful fluffy clouds and ominous dark clouds. "eureka!" exclaimed little wahoo and she showed grandmere the photo. "hmmmm..." grandmere said, while adjusting her new spectacles, "this is nice, but it is so last year. no, think of something else, or at least a newer photo."
so while they were having supper of cauliflower cake topped with extra old cheddar cheese, little wahoo asked, "aren't treasures supposed to be old? because if treasures are new, then you wouldn't have to find it. unless of course you hid it so well you forget where you hid it. just like the mcdonalds gift cards..."
"okay! okay," said grandmere summerfield. "i got your point and don't mention anymore the gift cards, i know i kept them in a safe place (exactly where, i have to figure out)."
so, little wahoo saved the day yet again for grandmere summerfield (who as of this writing still can't remember where she hid those gift cards for darren hehehe!).
so here is a photo of layers of clouds from my vacation last year, a treasure we dug from the 2011 folders. and there's little wahoo admiring the view.
Stunning sky! The whole composition is made up of fabulous layers and color tones. Wahoo sure does save the day for grandmere! That caramel meringue cake sure does sound good tho! :)
