just staring at the box for weeks and weeks since Christmas (it's a gift). then i thought of photographing just one. well...now the box is half empty. i had to eat the models as they were getting soft from the blinking light of the camera (self-shutter light).
that is why, the food we see in magazines, advertisements, those are "dummies". the number of sesame seeds you see in a shot for a big mac, those aren't random. ice cream will melt under the lights so they use mashed potatoes. the same with chocolates.
in this case, i was gulping down the chocolate pieces whenever they softened. one fell down on the floor, i picked it up quickly and i stood there, fallen chocolate getting softer in my hand, and i was in a quandry if i should throw it away (i tell the grands never to eat anything that falls on the floor, no matter that the floor is clean) or eat it (after all it wasn't on the floor for more than two seconds). useless now, can't use it as a model. camera blinking, waiting to be used or it will shut itself off. i looked at the box. what the heck, there are still ten in there. so with so much guilt i walked over to the kitchen and threw the darn thing in the trash.
where were we? oh yes. the chocolate. creamy chocolate in the centre with a whole (at least it used to be a whole) hazelnut, enclosed in a thin chocolate wafer then dipped in milk chocolate and rolled in coarsely chopped hazelnut pieces then dipped again in chocolate.
oy, holy momma, the box's empty now. and i suddenly have a headache. :-)
LOL . . you going to become the next great food photographer?!! This is just too tempting for words. I've never had a Ferrero Rocher . . and I'm not crazy about chocolate. But it's your power of suggestion . . and my mouth is watering. :)
@karenann - i am in awe of people who aren't crazy about chocolate! i've not had chocolate in a long while and suddenly i ate a whole box - all 18 pieces of it. i think i'm going to pass out! :-) thank you, karenann.

@sarasdadandmom - terry, i was just told or accused yesterday of being addicted to the internet. and i told them i am not. addicted to 365 maybe but certainly not the internet, there's a big difference, right? and because i am 'addicted' to 365, i want to post at least decent photos and put in some kind of effort like everyone else here. hehehe! thank you, terry.

@jannkc - well, jann, you know, some of us are equipped with what they call self-discipline. NAH! that's because there was lobster, fruit cakes, plum puddings and other stuff to finish first. tee-hee! thank you, jann.
@summerfield I was playing around in there last night for the WWYD challenge and I did see a collage feature. Now where was it? It was either in the same section where the frame feature is, or it was under the effects. I think it was listed near the frame feature.
