i found out today that it is quite difficult to take a panoramic shot of the water, especially when there is a lot of wave movements. i got lucky that i was still able to connect the waves because they are never the same each time they arrive on the sandy shore. in this case you can see that the movement of the wind on the water is the same but the waves although aligned are of different shape and volume. this has the look and feel of a scene from 'the outer limits'. stare at it long enough and something will jump out of the water. i dare you.
No ... I'd never get a shot as beautiful as this and could never make the water movement look like a scene from the "outer limits!" It does have that mysterious quality to it, summerfield. Beautiful and great pano.
@karenann - hehe! i now undersand why the waves don't look the same: the left is coming in and the right is going back. mysterious quality? i don't know about that, i know one part is tilted and the other isn't and if i try to correct the tilted part the not tilted part will then tilt. thank you, karenann. all set for tomorrow's egg hunt?
@roth - hey, the fish didn't come from this side of the beach. there was, however, a plastic bag floating near the rocks. that ain't mine either. you funny you! thank you, sue.
@cscecil - watch out, don't fall in the water! thank you, CS!
