finally, i found a magnolia tree, albeit a young one still, with flowers that weren't ravaged by the weather. and the tree was short enough that i didn't have to crane my neck! i just love these flowers.
and now that i've got my magnolia photos, it's time to hunt for those irises!
@cscecil - thank you, CS. i couldn't decide which flower to shoot when i saw this tree that was only about a foot taller than myself. and a lot of the blooms were within eye level or lower. i could've brought it home with me if it was possible! :-)
A beautiful collage ... and you got this fabulous frame! WOW. The colors of the flowers are gorgeous. But so is the green of the grass!! We don't have the Irises out yet here .. do you?
this is gorgeous and one of my favorites, too. the blossoms are so wonderful in their shape and color. you did such a creative job with the collage and frame. fav. this should be hung someplace, so lovely.
