photography to me is magical. as a young girl, i watched my father take pictures of us with that big heavy kodak box, then in the evening he would 'develop' the pictures underneath our dining table covered with a bed sheet. we were made to sit in a corner because the light had to be switched off. my mother acted as my father's assistant, handing him tools and stuff and washing and putting away everything.
he would project the negative prints on our wall, using a folded cardboard and bulb lighting. we were so fascinated, more in part that it was done right at home.
in the morning, it was even more magical when he would show us the printed photographs. one of those photographs i had posted here on september 10, 2011 (see http://365project.org/summerfield/365/2011-09-10 )
these days, the advent of digital technology lent more to the magical quality of photography. and then of course, there's the magic of processing.

befunky ate my exif!! i processed this in ipiccy then processed it more in befunky. don't ask me what i did because, once again, i hit too many icons and i just forgot what they were. my posting for '30 days in june' is here: http://365project.org/summerfield/365/2012-06-21
I'm not sure what you did in iPiccy, but it looks like you either used one of the Underpainting or Watercolor effects in BeFunky. I'm not sure where you got the frame- but it looks like one of the new craft edges in PicMonkey- although you didn't say you'd used that. And yes- BeFunky eats the picture info. I'm not sure why! Lovely shot with the magical power of photography to evoke feelings and memory.
@olivetreeann - thank you, ann. watercolour i think in befunky. the frame was from befunky too. i didn't go to picmonkey at all as i hate that darn monkey always intruding and winking at me :-) all the time.
