going to the beaches in the early morning; walking barefoot on the sand; watching the clouds change the face of the sky; gazing at the sailboats beyond the shore.
i can't think yet of things i won't miss. right now, i'm enjoying what's left of summer. environment canada says we're in for an unusually warmer winter. yeah, maybe. but then again, what's winter without s....sure! i'm supposed to be enjoying summer.
So pretty! The weeping willow (?) frames the shot so nicely. I love the beach. One of my favorite things is to get up before anyone else and just sit and enjoy the beauty. Nice description and shot.
@steeler - thank you, howard. that's exactly what i want to do and i'm all set to do that. just waiting to win the lottery! hahaha! relocating to arizona is my other alternative. i was told it's hot there year round!
@summerfield Here, we have a really dry summer and a temp range of 40 to 63 most days at my house, but hot weather just a short drive inland and fog here most mornings. In the winter we get a rare frost, 3 snowfalls in the 23 years I've lived here and mostly a temp in the 30 - 50 range but around 100 inches of rain September to may. For me the season is more about family time vs. school time when we are all crazy busy.
love the composition of your shot. and we have spoken of moving to arizona, too, but can't get those boys to agree and i won't move without them. mal says we should go and fly back to visit but i won't do it.
