been wracking my brain all day as to what to post for today's 'opaque or transparent' challenge. bought some wrapping paper with colourful prints. did the spoon shot, major fail. did the crystal shot, epic fail. then several minutes ago, i saw jeff walker's white-on-white photo and it inspired me to do the same thing. old ceramic vase to the rescue. plus the bucket list for 2012 is one item shorter.
i should be able to do this much better in the future. for now it will do as the medication is kicking in; it makes me feel drowsy.
@amyjriker - thank you, amy. this didn't come out as i wanted it to be as the background appeared to be greyish. i did a few test shots and adjusted my lighting.
@jsw0109 - thank you, jeff. i was just watching a short video tutorial on this. lighting was placed above then white boards on four sides of the subject. will try it again one day as the background here appears to be grey-ish. thank you for the inspiration. :-)
