i've been dying to have a go at those mini cupcakes so i had to get the shot done quickly.
partner and i played 'tea' tonight but we were both lazy to take out the old tea service so we made do with our everyday porcelain china. well, i suppose this is not the english tea that my push partner was asking for. however, we are canadians, and our cultures are diversed and that's just the two of us. partner's ancestors came from scotland and england in the seventeeth century, while i always tell him i'm pretty sure in my other life i was the queen of england.
in any case, when i think of english tea or afternoon tea, i think of scones and clotted cream and whipped butter and little cute sandwiches. i almost ordered the mini-sandwiches but the order had to be one big tray and what am i to do with a gazillion mini sandwiches?
thank you kindly for your views and comments; much appreciated, folks!
You have set up the table very nicely. I am sure you were a wonderful queen hehe. As far as the gazillion mini sandwiches I am sure you would have given it the good old college try so to speak as far as getting rid of them haha :)
@bkbinthecity - haha! the sandwiches i was told would have meat in some of them. i suppose i could give them to the boys in the mailroom. :-) thank you, brian.
@ summerfield well done love the 3 shots to be honest i wasn't expecting THREE shots my pushed will be done tonight... not saying which one it will be though hehehe

@olivetreeann - partner was saying we should do this all the time! hahahaha! i don't think so. thank you, ann.
@eniaral - i wasn't happy with the set up. i should've used my three tiered glass tray for the pastries but i couldn't find the hardware for it. but it was fun to set it up even though a bit stressful. i'm out of practice. thank you, laraine.
@claireuk - i love afternoon tea. but there's no good place to go to in here. the king edward hotel offers afternoon tea but i have yet to see a good review. i don't mind paying good money if i'm satisfied with the food. thank you, claire.
