you wonder how this little beauty is still not devoured yet. this is one of the leftovers from last night's set up. just as well, the topping of the regular cupcake i bought today for today's shoot collapsed. still edible but no shape or personality.
i'm done with the patisserie next door. i'm now waiting for them to go out of business. so the 'prairie girl bakery' is now my new haunt.

Yum! I have a couple of cupcakes left over from my last bake-a-thon, mostly because believe it or not there is a limit to how many cupcakes a girl can eat in one day! Mine didn't look this pretty though (I get bored with the topping and just smear it on!). Gorgeous bokeh in your pic make your cake look like a star!
@summerfield yeah... scrumptious they are! and they come in mini sizes which means, of course, that you can at 3 of them for zero calories... right? ;p
@northy - er...no! i had half a dozen minis and didn't add up to any calories at all. it's calorie-less so you can have as many half-a-dozen as you want. bwahahahaha! but seriously.
OMG! thought I'd look at all your photos...then realized it's not just a rabbit hole but a sink hole and I'd never get to bed before 3! I'd love to sit and read everything! HOWEVER...I was up until after 3 this morning and woke after 4 hours, having "worked out photography situations" all night! Best I get to bed soon as it's Market Day in the morning...a great place to meet up with friends! (So NOT California!)
