some magnolia trees are in full bloom, others are just starting to grow their buds. i might have a supply of fresh magnolia shots in the next two weeks.
this is a 'blind' shot. the flowers on the tree were too high for me (oh the folly of being vertically challenged!) so i had to stand on my tippy-toes whilst leaning on a concrete ledge and post, my arms stretched to the max. thank heavens for rotating screens. i had to use the lens' auto-focus as i couldn't see what the camera was seeing. but i like the bokeh produced by a car's headlight in the distance.
