white tulips by summerfield

white tulips

"One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn't belong,
Can you tell which thing is not like the others
By the time I finish my song?"
- sesame street

partner called me before lunch to tell me about this garden with just white tulips in it. well, except for this one, right in the middle of the plot. the tulips were huge! while partner would not want to touch the camera, he's always on the alert for photographic opportunities for me. he's very happy with this shot and asked to whom i shall dedicate this posting for today?

i always get a lot of encouragement from ann @olivetreeann ever since we became friends here on 365. and of course, sometimes we try to cook up some challenges to share with every one. i admire her for her adventurous spirit when it comes to processing photographs which always turn out extraordinary. ann, all the tulips you see here are for you, i wish you're near enough for me to give you flowers. here's hoping we'll have a meet up soon! and if i knew your address, i'd have sent you a pashmina already. :-)

thank you for your kind views and comments; they are sincerely appreciated.

and the one tulip said: You laugh at me because I'm different, I laugh at you because you're all the same.
