i had been feeling so-so the last couple of days. i reckon it's the return of the cold weather. today i walked down to st. james cathedral and park, they always have nice tulip displays there at this time of the year. in the front garden below the tall stained glass windows there were these onion-like plants with long slender (and sturdy) stems and at the end were bulbs similar to this, some not even ready to bloom yet unlike this one. when this blooms it will be like a burst of purply tiny flowers.
the surprise was when i uploaded it, i discovered a friend of MB @espyetta was hanging on the flower bulb. i should be careful getting too close to the flowers or the bugs would attack me. MB this is for you.
You write so entertainingly that sometimes I have to go back and remember to actually look at the picture, I'm always so eager to dive into the words first
@tara11 - i will definitely, there were two that had started to bloom but this one's the biggest. thank you, tara.
@fullcircle - thank you, cindy.
@pandorasecho - is that your way of whipping my ass back to writing? you're not the only one, if you must know. :-) thank you, dixie.
