we cannot finish a month of flowers without featuring the orchid, queen of all flowers - it is beautiful, exotic and sensual. or maybe just because they're on sale.
a friend wanted a "nice" close-up photo of herself and asked me if i can do it for her. it took me five minutes to study the lighting in her living room. i did a high key and a low key and she liked both. i cannot however post it here because she simply doesn't want me to. so this afternoon she gave me an orchid plant and so tonight i have a flower to photograph and post.
