lilac (for the mad minute word wednesday's "mansuetus")

i have seen a lot of lilacs, in different colours, no less. two weeks ago i was planning on pruning all the lilacs at all the parks i passed by because partner loves the smell of lilac, which smell is not at all mansuetus although i had in the past encountered a variety with a mansuetus fragrance.

we had lotsa rain overnight so this morning, i was off for a long walk with the camera. the fuji has a 'supermacro' function and it is much lighter to carry first thing in the morning.

tagging this for the mad minute word monday (the photo of which should be posted today, wednesday), the word being "mansuetus" which means mild, soft or gentle. after all, all flowers are mansuetus, don't you agree?

thank you for your kind visits and comments; i truly appreciate them.
